What a wonderful video filled with so many wonderful lessons about life and how we all have a purpose! You always have such amazing information on your site and I’ve been a lurker for a long time, and even spoke to you about buying one of your pups 2 years ago. Unfortunately you were far away and we really wanted to see the sire or dam of any pup we purchased because of a past experience with a dog we had purchased and not done that.

We did however end up with a puppy from a few hours away that is out of your line and we couldn’t be happier with him! If you visit my blog you can see pictures of Quinn and what a handsome and wonderful dog he is! He came from Ann and Will Stewart of Skyemoor Farm in Virginia, who own Bonnie, one of your puppies!

I also feed Candidae as one of my choices. I try to feed as many of these top quality feeds as I can find. I still don’t want to be totally devoted to the management decisions of one company.

There is not a lot of information about this brand. I would question whether the protein was high enough for most dogs. I feed my dogs raw beef, chicken and fish to be sure they get all the essential amino acids they need.

You know, it is possible that your dog was barking to tell you to beware of that loud new machine. She was worried about you and the barking was her way of trying to communicate her apprehension to you. I have had a similar experience many times. If I maintain a calm attitude and let the dog explore the machine in a “calm” state.. it seems to calm dog. I can’t tell you how many times a dog has tried to save my life and a couple of times my life actually was in danger.

My husband had just bought me a new tree/shrub trimmer at noon, as our daughter used to do this task very well for us. I wanted to try it out immediately. I didn’t want Kim the dog out of the house, but she was barking non-stop. Normally she doesn’t do this, and so I wanted to show her who’s the boss.
I was getting annoyed with her. As I was trying to gesture and tell her to ’stop barking’ and the trimmer cut right across the electrical cord, ending my ‘good deed for the day’ in less than two minutes.
I now get the joke why people say, “Dog is God spelt backwards.” She won.

My 3 dogs all love Trader Joe’s dog food and treats, both dry and canned. The canned has real meat and veggies in it and looks like something a person could eat. They love the kibbles as well, though the “lean” a bit less, and go crazy for all of the treats/bones…. Additionally, it’s quite inexpensive compared to even the junkiest of stuff in the grocery store. I drive 45+ minutes just to make sure they have this food. My mini beagle is especially enamored of it, and will eat all three dogs’ bowls-full if I let him get away with it. Love your pocket beagle pics!

Toby had passed away today Friday July 31st, I was with him in my arms when he took his last breath, it was so hard to be in that situation, but he is now in his piece, I will always have Toby in my heart and thoughts, Toby was a very good dog he had never been agressive, he was always a very loving and happy dog, I miss him so much, It is amazing how attached you can become to these animals, I was more attached to him than some people I know, may God be with him.

Dog’s have powerful immune systems which should help! When I was bite, I received small doses of steroids.. and an antibiotic.
Personally I took colostrum (an immune booster) and Vitamin C
I lost my appetite – what I eat was important to my body.
I would try and feed my dog organic chicken and rice – organic baby food like sweet potatoes. When the body is fighting a huge infection it does not need any more toxins – so go organic and bland…

My husband was kind enough to apply baking soda poltice to the wound once or twice a day. The wound is exremely painful so I wound not recommend cleaning it or messing with it.. The baking soda paste just helps to draw the poision – If the wound heads up as the poision is contained.. I would not break the blister.. let them break. no kidding this is really painful.. it felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife repeatedly in the leg. I couldn’t stand to have it touched anywhere around the site of the bite. I went into a low energy, sleeping state for about 4 days. Good nursing care.. is a must.. provide water and try and keep the dog hydrated.. Hope this helps… Hope it wasn’t a brown recluse.. they produce wicked wounds!!
